This was a staple production by Easton for a number of years, so not quite as rare as some, but a cornerstone of Easton Press collections. Richard Burton's work has also been a foundational centerpiece to almost any well appointed leather library of the great houses and wealthy collectors since its first publication. Look in any great library, from the noble palaces to stately country homes, some version of these works will be found. Condition: Leather is bright with only little sign of any shelf wear. Little marr to gilt page end save an infrequent mark. There is one or two longer marks on a couple books. For such a large set, this is a pretty excellent group and one of the better sets you will find on the market open and used. Even some sets sealed in the plastic wont be as nice if they have been stored improperly. This is a large, heavy set and expensive to ship back and forth. Always deal with a seller you can trust because many of these sets are popping up out of poor storage conditions from private sellers trying to raise cash.
