Rare Fisher 150 FM MPX Receiver Up for sale is a Rare Fisher 150 FM MPX Receiver. As the photos show, this is in good condition for its age. Since the sound was not coming out properly from one channel of the receiver, I checked and found that the capacitors in the tone control amplifier were defective and replaced. After replacing them, the aux and phono are working normally, but when FM is selected, the sound of the right channel is quieter than the sound of the left channel. It can be adjusted with the balance knob, but I think the FM section needs service. FM reception is good even without an antenna. Therefore, it is sold on an "AS-IS" condition. Tape machine in excellent condition as advertised. Prompt shipping. This was a very heavy unit and seller had it incredibly well packaged. Wrapped in foam in inner box, surrounded by more foam in second outer box. Kudos for such a superb job.
