The top and bottom of the spine show leather wear as well as each outer corner. The inside is inscribed by the previous owner and many pages throughout the book have pencil lines along the outer margins of certain pages. The very back few blank pages show 2 pages of pencil written notes from the previous owner. The very back last page of the book features a BULLOCKS BOOK SHOP price tag. Gregory, printed on a heavy, calendared paper, and an inserted Dodge title page. A single binding design -- a title vignette stamped in gold -- is illustrated PTLA 1914-1928. The same (or similar) design seems to have been executed in ooze leather, "brocade leather" (a mottled leather possibly produced by blind-stamping the material), and "leathercraft" (probably a "manufactured" leather).
