Bound in genuine leather. Complete in 25 volumes. Copyright 1906. Gilded title pages. Limited edition. Bound in full leather. Full leather is more expensive. All edges cases in gilt. Set has obvious generalized wear and some damage. Chipping. Chipping at the heads of the spines as shown in the pictures. Hinges strongly attached but have starting. Spines are heavily scuffed. Some dirt, some staining, some bowing to some covers. Quality paper. Still an attractive rustic set where condition is not critical. If you care about condition please do not buy this set. It is intended as an old rustic antiquarian display set. If you’re looking for an old encyclopedia this might be a good alternative to the britannica eleventh edition. Each book will be individually wrapped and well protected for shipping.
