Franklin Library leather edition of Aristotle's "Politics," Translated by Benjamin Jowett, Illustrated with scenes from the west friezes of the Parthenon, the temple of Acropolis in Athens, rendered by Dennis Luczak, one of the 100 GREATEST BOOKS OF ALL TIME series, published in 1977. Bound in hunter green leather spine, the book has ivory moire silk end leaves, satin book markers, acid-free paper, Symth-sewn binding, hubbed spines, gold gilding on three edges---in good condition---except for 'moderate' rubs on top and bottom gilt---leather and insides are fine . Aristotle, who lived from 384-322 B.C., was a great Greek philosopher. Aristotle studied with Plato in Athens. He later lectured to many scholars. Aristotle created Logic, the science of reasoning. He was also known for logic, moral philosophy, metaphysics, zoology, politics, and rhetoric. Books one through Book VIII. 321 pages. I offer combined shipping.
