This appears to be a 1984 edition judging from the copyright on the box. This player does work and has been tested. HOWEVER, the motor is noisy and the speaker is very low even with volume turned all the way up. I don't recall where this came from nor do I remember using it; therefore, I have no baseline to determine how it should perform.
