Fisher AM Ferrite Antenna NEW OLD STOCK ORIGINAL 801 - 701 - 401 - 301 Solid State four channel and Stereo Receivers! Here we have a brand new OLD ORIGINAL STOCK NEVER USED Ferrite AM Antenna for Fisher Solid State 4 channel and stereo receivers models 801, 701, 401, and 301. Original Fisher Part Number is LA51353 any suffix such as the -1 represents the production run only. Antenna is coated with wax per original and has picked up dust etc. from being in storage. Gentle heating with a heat gun removes much of this and we cleared up the label this way. These antennas function as a choke and are part of the AM RF Circuit. ONLY an EXACT ORIGINAL ANTENNA or one of EXACT resonant specifications (an original would have to be measured for value in µ-henries) can be used for a replacement in order to maintain proper AM tuner performance. These antennas have unfortunately often been used as handles and are frequently found to be broken or missing. If the ferrite rod is broken at ANY point the antenna will NOT function.
