Lovely older hardcover; in very good, close to like new VINTAGE condition, unused/unread, book marker is still in original place. A Beautiful rich maroon leather bound book, with 22kt gold embossed pattern and spine. Pages are tight, an uninked embossed stamp inside, but no writings, markings or bookplates. Printed on archival paper with gilded edges. The ends papers are a silky moire fabric and book has a silk ribbon page marker. Smyth sewing and concealed muslin joints to ensure the highest quality binding. This book was well cared for in a private home and has only very minimal shelf wear, just lovely and hard to believe it is nearly 40 years old- still gift quality.
