item is as was described and promptly shipped, and the outer packaging was very durable, but the shoes were packed with no protection for the toe box shapers, which were mangled and detracted from the overall good looks of the shoes. I believe I can restore the intended smooth, crease-free look of the toe boxes, but more care could have been taken to avoid the serious creasing.
