A hardcover book bound in full brown leather with gilt accents on the spine, marbled andpapers, and marbled foredges. Very good condition for its age! Edges rubbed, and spine ends lightly worn. Small, fingerprint-sized ink smudge inside front cover. Early owner's pencil inscription on a blank page in front. Pages mildly age-toned, but otherwise, text clean and binding tight. Item #187836 English translations of Spanish poetry, each with an explanatory preface.

Very well packaged. Better than some other sellers that just ship books in a Manila padded envelope. This seller had wrapped it in bubble wrap then placed in a box full of packed paper. Because of this extra careful attention the 139 year old book made it safe to its new forever home. The book arrived on time. As described. Great value for a book this old. The stain on front cover is exactly as described. I would prefer it to not have the stain but it definitely adds character.
