Borrow was a travel writer, best known for his works about his time with the English Romanichal. 'Romano Lavo-Lil' is a dictionary of the language of the English Romanichal people, 'Lavengro' and 'The Romany Rye' are two semi autobiographical novels, and the remaining volumes present are travel works.
