The Poetical Works of Thomas Moore This edition of The Poetical Works of Thomas Moore was published by P.F. Collier of New York in 1890. The cover is beautifully adorned with gilt lettering on the front and spine of the book and a gilt poet portrait. The pages are gilded on 3 sides. The inside includes a great many tissue paper-guarded plates which provide gorgeous illustrations for the poems contained within. The book includes not only the author's poetical works, but also a biographical introduction and notes to the poems. This book measure 1 0 x 7 inches and 4 1/4 pounds. This hefty volume serves well for reading or display. The book is in very fine vintage condition. The cover is stamp and gilt embossed. There is only light wear to edges and corners. The hinges are firmly attached. The binding is tight. All pages are present and attached.
