Description
For sale is a leather-bound edition of The Poetical Works of Samuel Rogers , published by George Routledge and Sons in 1869. Leather-bound with marbled endpapers and five raised bands. 128 engravings "from the designs of J.M.W. Turner and Thomas Stothard." Covers show some rubbing/bumping along edges and corners with scuffs down hinges and to raised bands, along with smudging/soiling. Splits between front and back endpapers, with rear endpaper/final gathering separated but laid in. Opens easily to between some gatherings, but binding is otherwise holding soundly. Pages foxed. Book described by seller as very good. I rate as near/fine. The value and price of this collectable book was as expected. Pictures of book are excellent. Communication on shipping A+. Seller bubble wrapped book inside box with packing for a safe journey. Shipping like previous purchases very fast. Purchased Nov. 11 received Nov. 15. Seller mailed quick and the Postal Service did a great job. I hope to purchase more from this "Platinum Buzzer" seller from Denton, Texas.

I can't recommend this seller highly enough. Everything was excellent, from the items' condition, to communication, to packaging. They took extra care with packaging because they knew we were having floods in my area. Postage was fast and tracking was brilliant. Postage cost to Australia was ridiculous, but that's not the seller's fault - they actually gave me a discount for multiple items! I hope to be a return customer.

When my book arrived , two days early, it was protected through its shipping in a wonderfully sturdy box. It was revealed to be as described and I felt its value was increased by its perfect condition even more than I expected. This is a 1991 book that is as perfect as brand new and never read or handled. I am so impressed!
